- Engage with identified participants referred to the Service through the Criminal Justice System, including the provision of drug and alcohol arrest referral cover at Police Stations, attendance for Court duties and Prison visits
- Support service users by promoting recovery through the provision of one to one and group work programmes, outreach visits and three way meetings. To undertake activities to engage, motivate and retain/re-engage service users to reduce levels of offending and substance misuse
- During all contacts with participants, consider relevance to the Hidden Harm Agenda and any issues that may affect young people
- Support participants during transitional stage to Tier 1, 3 or 4 services and into/out of the Criminal Justice System
- Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment
- Ensure that all data records are completed, submitted and distributed in accordance with policies utilising data and case management systems, enabling the Service to maximise positive outcomes for the participant
- Participate in appraisal, training and supervision processes
